June 2015 Running Playlist

I created this playlist, but it has not been runner-tested and approved yet.  It’s only been listened to on one run.  Normally I’d have to make a through a few runs with a playlist to absolutely perfect it.  But even some days, I guess you just don’t feel some songs as much as others.

This playlist has a lot of recent hits though, so I have complete confidence in it and figured I’d go ahead and share it with you now.  My goal was to make a playlist with a bunch of songs that I have not had on a previous running playlist.  Mission accomplished.

Also, as a full disclaimer: I have my 5 year college reunion in 2 weeks and my friends and I are in the process of making a party playlist with only jams from 2006 – 2010.  So some of those creeped their way onto this playlist as well.

Honey, I’m Good – Andy Grammer

GDFR – Flo Rida

Dear Future Husband – Megan Trainor

Bright – Echosmith

Fight Song – Rachel Platten

Budapest – George Ezra

Cheerleader – Omi

House of Gold – Twenty One Pilots

Cyclone – Baby Bash

Smoke – A Thousand Horses

Uma Thurman – Fall Out Boy

Going Out Like That – Reba McEntire

Night Changes – One Direction

Stolen Dance – Milky Chance

Telephone – Lady Gaga

One of these (House of Gold) was actually my brother’s suggestion.  I asked him for a few good work-out songs (he does biking and lifting, not so much running) and he came through with a few songs for me, but I wasn’t a fan of the others he told me to try.

What songs are on your June 2015 playlist?

Do you have any good throwback songs?

“Night Changes” is One Direction’s second best song. Good job.
